Secretly Loving

My dearest love

I am a man with just a dime

Yet you still chose me to be yours

While you, a girl of luxury

Are impenitent with me as your beloved

A love so strong but concealed

That the world disapprove of us

Yet our diurnal heartbeats

Respond to each other

I have found my mission in life

To be with you with every breath

To protect you like a raincoat on a rainy day

With sweet embraces to warm you up

I do not possess wealth

But with you as my only treasure is enough

No other jewelry could compete with your beauty

The lozenge pendant

Hanging around your swan-like neck

Will lose its beauty as eyes ignore it

Just to gaze upon your face

You never liked diamonds and rubies

You never longed for men and their gold

You only care for books and poetry

And while you’re standing

Here in a room filled with books

I watch your delicate fingers

Opening the pages of a fairy tale

A story about us

rose

You see the rose I hid inside

And then you smile

So sweetly at my action of love

We do not look contrite nor guilty

We are just two hearts, secretly loving

Passionate and unending
